  • “I have opened all the doors in my head.
I have opened all the pores in my body.
But only the tide roles in.”
    ~ Marilyn French

I was just recently looking/ skipping through Marilyn’s ‘the women’s room’ to see if I’ll be interested in reading it, and I’ve come to find that book really surreal. The romantic scenes aren’t your typical romance novel books at all - like the one time when Mira gives Ben a blowjob. It’s surreal indeed.

So this week I came to an epiphany. Start working out, start studying for the navy and final exam, and quiet smoking. So far it’s been going pretty good. But I’m very soar from yesterday’s run. My shoulders and back is hurting like a bitch.

And I’ve been trying to ignore these two problems lately….

Problem one: Has anyone ever gotten a red, threatening letter in the mail saying since you’ve missed you’re jury duty meeting, you have to go to this new jury meeting assigned to you or else you’ll be arrested or some crap like that… Well I was supposed to go to this threatened date meeting just this last Monday at 8 am. Did I go you ask? Well does this answer help: my head was blissfully snuggled into a very soft pillow, while the sleeper (me) had blissful weird dreams. Yes, I didn’t go to the threatened jury duty. i’m a little worried about damages, but Mike says that some people get away without any reprocutions (sp?)- like his grandmother for instants, who throws away all her jury duty papers, even the threatening ones.

Problem two: I have two library books that are about 2 months over due. And I don’t want to return them just yet, cause I’m still not finished reading these great books. Which they are: ‘The Black Tulip’ by Milt Bearden, and ‘Life’s Companion’ by Christina Baldwin.
Oh I’m in a shit load of mess here… procrastinating is not a good thing in the end.

Btw, my sister is the one that has The Distillers second album, and I’m not sure if she has the first. Anyway I like the album, and the city of angels’ song keeps getting stuck in my head, which is a very good song.

  • I think things are straightened away with max and I... I guess he was being his cynical self and in his words I was being a "drama queen." anyway, we've been friends for more than 13 years, this sort of thing comes and goes, and we're still friends. Which is pretty amazing isn't it?

The concert was great. Sisters decided to watch no doubt. <sarcasm> And joyness, we got to watch Gwen do about 15 pushups during her 'just a girl' song. </sarcasm> Sis saw up the drummer's skirt a couple times. But she really saw his undies, along with everyone else, when he decided take off his santa-girl dress in order to show off his t-back, Santa underwear... skinny boy that's for sure.

I wassssss soooo much in heaven when Garbage played. Shirly “Blondie” Manson was great. There was only one song that I didn't know - which was off their new album. They played another song from that too, but thanks to max, I knew what the song was. Thanx max.  They played a lot off of the second album, which sis thought it was cause they want to promote that album. Well, maybe that’s true, but there are a lot of good songs off that album. And Garbage dedicated "Vow" to Gwen, which I thought was too perfect. heheh. Gwen came over to say hello during their performance, and the crowd tried pushing forward and crapolas.

suggestion to get rid of crowd pushing to get closer to the stage, when there is no room to push forward:
If the music is right, and declares for some jumping up and down motions, then do so. It'll get rid of the pushing crowd, cause they'll be too distracted from fear that you'll jump on them to attempt to push forward. So they actually stepped back just a tad whenever i started "jumping." hehe

The distillers rocked. Brody “Cobra Bruce” Armstrong was great, and wearing her traditional clothes. She dedicated a song to Shirly (who came over to the stage earlier to say hello), thanking her for showing her how to be a bitch. Sis swore that she saw Tim Armstrong (Brody’s hubby of course) at the stage’s left wing. But there was no lighting there, so it was hard to tell who was who there. So everyone took her word.

And the standing ovation song: distillers, garbage, and no doubt played together the song "call me" by Blondie. Sisters were a little worried when Brody’s possible singing time came - which she only sang the chorus. Shirly and Gwen sang the main parts because Brody's a screamer, not a singer. Or so that's what my sisters were saying. It was still a great performance to me.

Yesterday dad took sis and I to see Harry Potter 2, which I liked quite a lot. About two hours or so into the movie I had to go to the bathroom, but I didn’t cause I didn’t want to miss anything. The first was a cutesy story, 2nd I think is a cute but mostly good action stuff.

And then last night, sisters, friends, and I went to 'Club Beat It' in Hollywood.. The bummer part of that was the Hollywood parade was just starting to end when we got there, and about an hour earlier there was a bomb scare >> someone thought that a backpack on the street had a bomb in it... it obviously didn't... So all of this made it quite difficult to find short cuts to the club’s parking lot. It sucked quite a lot…

Suggestion for females when going clubbing:

Take a female friend with you. So that way whenever there's a creepy guy that won't stop dancing with you. Just dance sexy with your female friend, and the creepy guy will surely walk away, as he would be thinking that this was some lesbian action going on, and wants nothing to do with that…
although we had only one guy that stuck around, so we just danced around the entire dance floor and he went away.

Yesterday I found out that I will be passing my science class. I’ll get a C if I don’t do the final, and a B if I get over 60 or so points on my final. Woohoooo. I’m quite extatic about that cause I thought I’d be failing, so I was figuring out a way to visit an aquarium with someone – it would’ve probably been with Ginger or Salina.

And today I woke up a tad earlier than normal. I’m going to go do some running, cause I have an epiphany here – to start running 4+ times a week, work out at the gym about 3 times, and wake up early.
But before I started that I went to the computer, and I found The Distillers’ Live Journal here. Very kewl.

  • I’m editing the grammar to all the ol’ blogs that I’ve written. It was bugging me.

Yesterday’s concert was great. I was not being a follower. I was being my own excited self, thank you very much. we all had a great time yesterday. Besides my best friend’s mean cynical comment – which max has a lot to explain about that. grrrrr... the situation can't be resolved at this moment because the block's cell phone isn't working at the moment. i've been trying to call him yesterday and today... but i keep getting an error... damn the man...

    so max.. wtf?

  • I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving.

My grandparents, cousin and her son, (another) cousin and his girlfriend, and sisters were all present (sisters don't live with my folks and I).

What am I thankful for... being alive, my family, and the fact that I’m not starving and homeless.. And having people to sit around and do absolutely nothing with each other. hehe

And tomorrow (today) I’m going to the No Doubt, Garbage, The Distillers concert… my sisters and I don’t think we’ll stick around to see No Doubt but we will get there early to watch Distillers and Garbage… sis is picking me up tomorrow at a quarter to 4pm I believe (kinda sure that’s the time).

Well that’s what’s going on… and gonna try to get someone to go see harry potter and a couple other movies I wanna see like 007, the emperor's club (even though it is VERY simular to DEAD POET"S SOCIETY), solarios looks alright, the ring, frida, greek wedding, crazy nights, and maybe ghost ship... hmm...

Excuse me as I go veg out on some more of my mom's hand-made french apple pie... mmmmm

oh and it's raining right now (started drizzling/raining at about a quarter to 8pm thankfully so it didn't ruin thanksgiving), with the on going STRONG winds that's been blowing for about a week now.. (HATE THE WIND!)

  • some jokes found from dod for this picture...
OK, One more time, who doesn't know what Camo is ? - Big Guy
I'm telling ya, if we all hide behind somebody, we'll be invisible - Pokendeye
Whadda mean, we forgot the bullets? - Stevie Raves On

yesterday i went with my recruiter to a JROTC competition. it was quite < sarcasm > fuunnn < /sarcasm > ya whatever.
none of the youngin schools (18 total) could follow the directions on how to do their pt. oh pardon me, one class did do the pt good, but we still had to yell at them to get in order and in line yadda yadda so that they can begin the drills.
pain in the ass it was... then i had this annoying headache afterwards = 6 hours of yelling above high schoolers does that to you i guess. *sigh* it was a headache from hell and my eyes were quite tired. arrgg
and now today i still have that headache... shot me shot me now...

    EDIT:

The drills that the rotc kids were doing yesterday were VERY gun-ho. Even my recruiter and some other military ppl were having fun laughing at their gun-ho drills.
There was a lot of times that we deppers had to consistently repeat the directions for each drill that the individual school had to do. At least they were consistent on that…

anyway, some of the things that ticked us off is that when we asked everyone to be quite, 5 seconds later, the schools waiting their turn would start talking louder than the tape that was playing for the drill… so we’d have to yell at them to be quite… grrr…

and then each class we’d repeat how they had to do a “correct” sit-up or push-up. One guy got a little ticked and showed it, when he had to stop doing his sit-ups and later push-ups when he wasn’t going along with the “credence”…

and then another schmoe thought it was fine to have his fist placed near the female’s breast = when doing a push-up the guys have to place their fist on the floor with their thumb in the air so that when the gal went down to the ground, she’d touch the thumb with her chin instead of the floor… well the guy had his hand near where her breast would be… so the guy that was judging them told them it’s the thumb to the chin (which we repeated over and over before they started these push-ups) so the guy lifted his thumb in the air – not moving his hand… so he was told again to move his hand… so the guy was like “oohhh!” pshh… the odd part was that the girl was doing her push-ups like there was nothing wrong with this guy having his fist near her boobies… *shakes head* idiot? I don’t know which one is…

After the 6 hours of this… I went and experimented on one of those rock climbing walls. It was quite interesting… and weird.

  • Happy birthday to Max

    he's 27 now. old fart. hee-hee.

thanx everyone for wishing me well. my head isn't hurting but i still feel like i have a ton of bricks are placed ontop of my head, and also drained out...

and the past couple of days i've felt like complaining & venting but there's been no one to vent to, so i've done it here... so don't worry everyone, all is well. LOL.

    UPDATE.

I’m freaking sick. I have a freaking cold and it’s not fun. Damn it all to hell. I BLOODY HATE BEING SICK. BLOODY HATE IT. Sinus cold suck! a speratic headache, and then sneazing. damn the man to all hell!!!!!
I didn’t stay for class because I wasn’t feeling good.
and you would think that with this cold i'd be sleeping like a log, but nooo. i'm still getting weird dreams, only problem is is that they're so clustered, it's like watching a Pulp Fiction movie, kinda scary.
Yup, I went to class and turned in my homework, which I completed at last minute, and took the quiz, which I also studied for at the last minute. Typical me. LOL. And then after that I left just as Judy was starting her notes lecture. Shucks. LOL.

i'm going to bed, it's late for me... just wish that mom would bloody stop with her nagging. nag nag nag nag. she's getting on my nerves. pushing on my last buttons. grrrrrrrrr....
don't expect me to write in here in a while, my eyes hurt too much to read... (don't know how i'm going to write the paper in this state....)

    update:

my penpal fred sent me a package.. he gave me a hat of his ship (which is currently stationed near Jordan - where the lucky bastard marine meet the king of jordan last month), a postcard of "H.M. King Hussien and H.M. Queen Noor" (mom suggested that i keep this postcard, saying that it's quite valuable), and about a whole roll of film of him and his marine buddies playing with their guns, cops and robbers, and popping up their sleeping tents just before an apparent rain storm. poor bastards. heheheh... (miss that sort of stuff max? LOL)

  • News flash:

I am not going postal. Well I am almost there after reading that I can take open Microsoft Works in Microsoft Word – but you know what Kenny! I did try that and it was being reetarted with me.

And a happy happy joy joy here… mom and I were cleaning crazy for when some or one of my group people were to come over to my house to take a look see at the paper before turning it in. I guess mom wanted to make a good impression.
Only one person showed up, and she stood in the front door – hallway area for maybe 4 minutes! $@&*$&**%$

Ok better. At least the damn paper’s done.
And another happy happy joy joy cause one of my recruiters is picking me up to go to the office cause I guess he wants to talk boot camp talk to me or something. *shrugs* whatever.

btw max put in more pictures onto his geocities site...

  • The ill fatal disease is after you I say! Damn it!

Sorry everyone for not writing in a while. I’ve been quite busy.

Does everyone remember the two (separate) group projects that I’ve been working on? Well it seems that both my groups have this ill fatal disease of not reading the directions....

Because of this ill fatal disease, we've (it was me most of the times) had to re-write all the computer printed pages. All these pages were not saved on a disk, because both times I was not aware that I should of hunted after a freaking disk that worked...

Craig’s disk needed to be reformatted even though there was "programs and pictures" on the disk
and ginger's disk... Well, ginger's field trip notes was saved as Microsoft Word.. And when we worked on the paper on Salina’s computer, it was saved as Microsoft Works...

Freaking people and computers... *pulls out m16s. And bazookas.* lets see you not work with me now... you screw up and you will die a slow painful death I swear on my mother’s grave bwahahaha. Damn it. Ok my mother isn’t dead. Well then on my great grandmother’s grave – who by the way was a good woman and my idol – like the time Richard Nixon slapped her face because she snitched on him. Mwahahah.

    i'm ok. really. just need a moment. to collect. my composure. 1. 2. 3. 4. 6. 10.
