I MADE IT. I'M OUT. FUCKIN FREEDOM!!!!!!!
i was really busy during my last few weeks. and i actually enjoyed my stay at boot camp. just the females are worse than the rdc's is all. bm2 white told me that if i have any problems with the boatswain's mates out in the fleet to give him a call cause more than likely he'll know the bm's on my ship. so boot camp was more fun than it was bad. and i did get my bunks made quickly, it's just the bunks had metal boards around all the sides - so making the bed without getting little nicks and scratches on your nuckles wasn't an option. we were VERY SPOILED because we stayed at the brand new bunks. and comparing it, i've realized that my a-school beq's (bachelor enlisted quarters) is the getto. but at least it isn't the extrime getto.
i'm at the a-school's library right now. the school is at the naval training center (ntc) base right across the street from the recruite training base (rtc). so far a few girls have said that this is like college. but i'm not trying to judge it yet, as i'm still trying to figure out the day's schedules and stuff. i'll be stuck here wearing my uniform, drolling at the people that can wear their civilian clothes untill i leave on april 21st which is when i can go to my duty station. miss boxer here i come!
