Things aren't going as planned!!!!she couldn't call me, she didn't have the time too. She didn't even have time to call her mom...reality check....she ain't in Kansas anymore....bye for now...

If USN is like USAF she won't get much time to call until about the third week.

When I was in Basic training in the USArmy, we didn't have any chance to make a phone call until about the sixth week.
Keep a stiff upper chin. She will be in touch eventually. And we expect you to let us know when her first letter from the front arrives.
