eminim is corrupting my 7-year-old cousin. when he told me that he was grounded for trying to download eminim's 8 mile, he acted like it was no big deal. the kid has been taking lessons by my sisters and i (especially lil sis) cause we can manipulate our folks pretty good. but this kid has it made. 7 years old, and he's already trying to download the 8 mile. the song or the movie, i don't know. the kid didn't even know. he said that he was trying to download the 8 mile, which probably was the music, unfortunatly the download program didn't seem to complete itself or something. and his rents found out later.
then on xmas eve he tried to use his charm and get me to play an explicit lyrics cd. i knew better. so i just played him a "secret cd." a band that he doesn't hear that much of, but one that does have the explicit on it if he fought me... what i played was We're In This Together
by nine inch nails. the song doesn't have any cus words in it. a song of N I N without cus words, amazing isn't it? and i was smart and never told my cous who the band was. he did ask "is it that NIN (pronounced it as n-in) band?" i said no, and refused to tell him the band of course. very tricky i know.
but shame on eminim for encouraging 7-year-old kids to try to download his albums. at least bands like N I N has songs without cus words, and violence (yes, the song i chose didn't have any sort of violence). shame on eminim. the guy has no morals.
and ya, i had a good christmas, minus the knot in my back. and i luckly didn't get that much of a hangover friday from so much wine, and sleeping for about 5 hours or so. hehe
And please don't forget about how i'm re-writing some of my ol' short stories...

Yeah, it's weird DJing a middle school dance and trying to ride the line between good taste and playing the hits. I got a request a while ago for "How Many Licks" by Lil Kim and just couldn't help but burst out laughing. Kids just don't have the music we had!

Yeah I absolutely detest Eminem. He's brilliant in terms of his music and talent, but he just seems like a total asshole to me. Every awards show he is on, everytime I've seen him on MTV...he just appears like a total asshole.
That is pretty remarkable about your 7 year old cousin though, downloading the music? But yeah...pretty glad he didn't succeed. Eminem will rot his brain out. Hehe.. (God, I sound like a parent now).

i have subsitutes on hand always - my youngest brother is twelve, and i babysit a lot. my favorite? Kermit: The Real Slim Kermie. not joking. it's kermit, rapping. and it's pretty hard core, for kermit. hee hee
Well, my 5 year old nephew is still trying to get over SpongeBob SquarePant. Ha..ha...the innocents. But you are right....kids these days learn tech. stuff really quick.
